For Steve Forceman, the ideal of social order represents not simply a promise, but a broken promise. He isolates himself from both the civilized and the savage, because in his contemporary milieu, he cannot distinguish between them... He lives from one case to the next and constructs his value system in the process of his work. If society is corrupt, as Steve's investigations would seem to indicate, then he must look within himself for guidance and meaning... Sloth

Is that a curse word in reaction to Mark Prior? Because it's my reaction to Willie McGinest.
Yeah I just saw that about McGinest. Hard to believe after--what was it, 12 years? Sorry to hear it man.
That bit of gibberish was an accident. There was some sorta problem w/ 1 of blogger's servers, so I couldn't get into my blog for a day or so. I wasn't sure what had happened, so I put that "entry" up to see if it would post.
And yeah--by a strange coincidence, it is an exact phoenetical rendering of the sound I made when Prior's injury was announced. Very astute of you there.
